John – Americans’ voting rights are in danger AGAIN!

Right now, there’s a case before the Supreme Court – Merrill v. Milligan – that could DEMOLISH the remaining protections of the Voting Rights Act! To fight back, we’re reaching out to our most reliable DGA supporters and asking them to add their names and DEMAND that the Court protect the Voting Rights Act.

Far-right conservatives on the Court have struck down or weakened major portions of the VRA twice since 2013 – and now their ruling on Merrill v. Milligan could be the final straw!

Here’s why we’re especially worried: During their last term, SCOTUS’s conservative majority pushed a disastrous and unpopular right-wing agenda, ending federal protection for abortion and putting Americans’ fundamental rights on the line. Knowing their record and the number of Trump appointees on the bench, there’s no telling how bad their rulings are going to get – including on voting rights!

In 2022 alone, we saw state legislators nationwide introduce over 400 bills to restrict voting rights – and that’s on top of over 150 election interference bills! And right now, we can’t trust the Court to help us fight back.

To combat the GOP’s anti-voting agenda and protect our democracy, we’ll need a groundswell of support from grassroots Democrats like you. Please, team, will you be one of the 76 reliable supporters in 19125 that we need to DEMAND that SCOTUS protect the Voting Rights Act?
