Old Market Square
The annual Nottingham St Patrick’s Day event returns to the city centre next week, celebrating the city and region’s vibrant Irish community and descendants.
Head to Old Market Square to enjoy a range of Irish and Irish-inspired live music and culture on stage including the Louie Walsh Band, Irish dancers and Comhaltas CeoltĂłirĂ Nottingham. There will also be food stalls selling traditional Irish stew and other delicacies.
This free event takes place from 11.30am-4.30pm.

Newstead Abbey
Woodland Disco Festival will be hosting another confetti-soaked party, this time at the fairy tale setting of Newstead Abbey.
The full line up of artists have now been confirmed, including the amazing David Morales, Nightmares on Wax, Mousse T. who is know for the massive hit Horny, Smokin Jo and Kirollus who will be playing an all vinyl set!
These will be joining the already announced Craig Charles, Gok Wan, Barbara Tucker, DJ Spiller and house royalty Alison Limerick, best known for her 90's club anthem Where Love Lives.

A lively evening of rock, indie and alternative music, hosted by BBC Radio Nottingham's Dean Jackson, to witness bands from NTU and Confetti battling it out for some incredible prizes in front of industry judges.
Show your appreciation for talented student bands, as they take to the Metronome stage to fight it out for some amazing prizes. A panel of industry experts will judge the contest, and as an audience member you won’t be left out either – there are prizes including gig tickets and more!

Nottingham Craft Beer Festival 2023Â will take place over three sessions on Friday 16 June and Saturday 17 June (afternoon and evening sessions on the Saturday).Â
The festival was born off the back of Nottingham Craft Beer Week, a pub-led movement which ran from 2013-2022 and in 2020 won awards from SIBA for being the best craft beer promotion in the UK.
The 2023 breweries will include Black Iris, Castle Rock, Neon Rapter, Northern Monk and many more.
