in government funds from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) has opened a critical opportunity to build towards equity. Despite the constraints of government funding formulas, federal, state, local, and tribal government officials have significant ability to shape these investments –– and we urge them to use these standards to do so.

The new PolicyLink infrastructure standards are designed to be scaffolding for this future. We must build for the all so that nothing stands in the way of everyone providing a great life for their families.
