Friend,
When we asked the HSLF community to tell Inotiv to release the dogs they were conducting tests on—including puppies being force-fed potentially toxic drugs—the outcry and response was incredible.
Sadly, this kind of cruelty is not a problem at just one facility. Animal testing occurs in facilities across the country because the U.S. Food and Drug Administration strongly encourages companies to conduct these tests.
That’s why we’re demanding that the FDA transition away from policies that support and encourage animal testing. Will you send a message to the FDA right now to urge them to stop relying on outdated animal tests?
The fate of dogs and other animals used in these tests is almost always death. And yet the FDA’s guidelines and regulations strongly favor animal testing, often requesting extensive testing on dogs and other animals.
We already have non-animal methods that are more accurate than animal tests—methods that will only become more precise and sophisticated over time. Transitioning to non-animal testing is a win-win, which is why we’re urging the FDA to take immediate action.
Send the FDA a message now expressing your support for more humane non-animal testing methods!
Thank you,
Sara Amundson
