🙀Rupert Murdoch admitted, under oath, that he and FOX News have been up to some sedition-y shenanigans. First, Murdoch and FOX leaked Team Biden debate strategy and as well as handed their yet-to-be-seen political ads to good ol’ JK. Second, he and multiple FOX hosts, including the Triumvirate of Evil Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, and Laura Ingraham, knowingly spread the Big Lie about the “stolen election.” What will happen here? Who’s to say. Sometimes it feels like FOX news has more power than God in America, so … it’s a wait-and-see scenario. I’m not going to hold my breath, but wouldn’t it be nice if a few sane Republicans held theirs until they were blue? Blue voters, that is!
🤔Marianne Wiliamson has said she will seek the Democratic nomination for POTUS in 2024. In 2020, when she ran on a campaign of Chakra and Awe she polled at less than 1 percent. Many surmise she has a new book coming out so why not use the most important platform in the world to sell a million books — or to manifest her 1976 best-seller, A Course In Miracles.
🤣On February 23, the Down the Dirt Roads Scholar, Marjorie Taylor Greene tweeted that “6 Billion people illegally crossed our border since Biden took office , but Ukraine's border is the only border that matters to Washington.” A lot to unpack here, but let’s just leave it at this: the population of the entire world is just under 8 billion, soooooo … Also, #StandWithUkraine.
🤦 Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ official governor portrait went viral due to a doozy of a typo: allegedly, she is the “Arkansas Govenor.” Whether or not the photo is real, I can’t say 💯, but here are some things that are: Arkansas is the least educated state in the country & has our lowest teacher salaries.
😵 Have you heard about The Ultimate Cancel Act (SB 1248) filed on 2.28.23 by Florida State Senator Blaise Ingoglia? It would immediately cancel the filings of any political party whose platform had “previously advocated for, or been in support of, slavery or involuntary servitude.” This is a whack-a-doodle ploy to essentially ban the Democratic Party in Florida because once upon a time the Dems were more like current Repubs and vice versa until the parties slowly flipped ideologies between Reconstruction and FDR. This unhinged measure would switch Democratic voters to no-party or give them the option of choosing another party — pssst: they want people to check the “R” box. My name is Ingoglia Montoya, I’ve billed your party, prepare for it to die. (Sorry Mandy P.) If this bill were to pass (it is Florida, afterall), I wonder what they’ll do about the party that allows confederate flags at their rallies?
🤬Tennessee is tryna become the first state to criminalize Drag Performances! This is scary stuff. Queer people and advocates fear this is just the beginning of the Republican Party trying to criminalize transgender and nonbinary people. Listen, Tennessee: the only Ten I See is that beautiful Queen dancing for joy.
