Hey,

As the 2020 election nears, the need for campaign finance reform is stronger than ever.

Ten years ago, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled corporations were people in the infamous Citizens United v. FEC ruling.

This was a devastating blow to our democracy, and now, too many politicians are courting special interest groups and deep-pocketed donors instead of representing the American people.

Suzan and the House majority are fighting for campaign finance reform in the other Washington. On this ten-year anniversary, add your name next to Suzan's if you agree we need to take dark money out of our elections and overturn Citizens United.

Last year, Suzan and the House passed a desperately needed bill that will take big money out of politics, expand access to the ballot box, and make the government accountable to the people. But of course, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and the Republican majority are blocking it in the Senate.

Suzan is counting on grassroots supporters like you to help protect the majority in the House, take back the Senate, and elect the next Democratic president in 2020. Then we can get to work on making our government work for the people, again.

But first, take action: Add your name to the petition if you agree we need to overturn Citizens United to take dark money out of our elections once and for all.
