Folks — Every few months, we have to submit our fundraising reports to the Federal Election Commission.

And on March 31st, when we submit our first quarterly report of the new election cycle, rest assured that Republicans are going to closely scrutinize our numbers.

When we publish this report, it will either show off the strength of our fundraising operation — or highlight any vulnerabilities. GOP operatives will pore over this report to look for any signs of weakness in Pat’s campaign.

Truth be told, we have some ground to make up before the end of the month if we want to post the best possible numbers. Our fundraising has been (understandably!) slower as we start off the year, but now we have to catch up before the month wraps up and our numbers become public.
