March 2023 Newsletter

Learn more about our work.

The waiting period begins as our students finish their college and scholarship applications. They have planted their seed and are watching for those first glimpses of growth. It’s a pause before the excitement of the end of the school year takes flight, and Fulfillment Fund is taking in the moment by reflecting on the growth and effectiveness of our programs.

We recently received our first mid-year pulse check that provides a snapshot of our engagement during the 2022 fall term. Our College Access Program served 2,270 students from six high schools and one community organization through more than 1,100 one-on-one college counseling sessions and 2,300 students participating in group meetings. Our College Success Program served 540 scholars (students assigned College Success Advisor), and 170 associated scholars (students accessing the full suite of our programs without a specific Advisor), engaging in 750 individual conversations with our college students and providing them with 13 webinars in just four months.

While we prepare for spring celebrations, we hope you will join us in person or online and continue to support our mission to make college a reality for our students and support them on their paths to building their dreams.

Following the Data

Collecting accurate and meaningful data is crucial to tracking the progress and impact of our programs. Numbers paint a picture of how we serve our students and tell us in real time if we need to adjust our programs to be even more impactful. It’s also a way to translate the work to a broader audience. Check out our mid-year progress.
