I voted to impeach him twice. Now he’s back.

The disgraced, dangerous, deranged one-term ex-President Donald Trump gave an off-the-rails speech at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) last week. It was filled with lies, hate, and the entire GOP agenda – what Republicans in the U.S. House parrot every day. 

Trump continued to fan the flames of the “Big Lie,” echoed baseless conspiracy theories, and vowed “retribution” against his political opponents. He even called out Minnesota by name – a sure sign that we’re already one of his top targets.

As unhinged as the speech was, here’s the hard truth: In virtually every poll, Donald Trump is leading the GOP primary field and could very well be the Republican candidate again in 2024. 

In 2016, when Trump came within 1.5 points of winning Minnesota, we took it for granted. We can’t let that happen again. The work we need to do to save our democracy has to start right now, which is why I’m reaching out personally today to ask for your help. 

Our first public FEC deadline of the year is coming up at the end of the month. After it passes, our opponents will be waiting to go through our report with a fine-tooth comb to gauge our strength early in the cycle.

To prove that we won’t take Trump’s threats lying down, we set a public deadline goal of $50,000, but with three weeks to go, we’re still less than 15% of the way to our target.
