Richards to Receive Seals Laity Award
Perkins School of Theology has announced that Dr. Yvette Richards will be a recipient of the 2023 Woodrow B. Seals Laity Award. The award is presented annually to laypersons in the United States who embody the Christian faith and commitment of service to Christ in the church, community and world. Richards is a member of St. James United Methodist Church in Kansas City. The recipients will be recognized during a worship service at the Perkins Summit for Faith and Learning, scheduled for March 24-25, on campus at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
