Hi folks — In just a moment, I’m going to ask you to become a monthly donor to our grassroots campaign. [[link removed]] But first, I hope you will give me a chance to explain why that request is so important, especially at this point in the election cycle.

In 2022, this incredible team pulled out all the stops to secure our seat in the House, despite the early right-wing attacks and the naysayers who didn’t believe in our mission. We won in November because we treated the election like a marathon, not a race. And, we helped pick up more Democratic seats in the House from North Carolina.

Right now, the GOP is hoping to wear us down because they know that once we have momentum, we can achieve anything we set our mind to. With the battles that we have ahead, including abortion care, affordable healthcare, and addressing the climate crisis, consistency is key.

It’s easy to grow complacent around this time of the year, and I get it — things don’t feel as urgent as they did in November. But this is the perfect time to build momentum for our people powered movement, which is why I’m personally asking:
