Two Rivers Trout Lake to open March 11; statewide stockings to follow

Another spring of trout fishing fun is on tap in Nebraska. The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is scheduling the release of rainbow trout in waters across the state.
It starts March 11, opening day of the Trout Lake at Two Rivers State Recreation Area in Douglas County. Find the full schedule at our website.

Commissioners to consider 2023-2024 waterfowl recommendations
Nebraska Game and Parks will consider 2023-2024 waterfowl hunting season recommendations at its March 14 meeting in Kearney.
The meeting begins at 8 a.m. in the North Platte Room at the Great Platte River Road Archway Monument, 3060 E. 1st St.
