Jack,
Some have called me a trailblazer. And while I would be the first woman to hold this seat, and first Native American (Ho-Chunk) to represent Wisconsin in Congress, that’s not why I chose to run for office.
It is high time that our women and our young girls see themselves reflected in congressional leadership, but people shouldn't vote for me just because I'm a woman. They should vote for me because I'm a qualified woman who's going to get the job done.
I am running for Congress because we need someone who will fight for the hard-working Wisconsinites -- our children, our families, our teachers, our farmers, our small businesses, our manufacturers, our veterans, our environment and our most vulnerable communities.
And I am the strongest candidate to help lift up our communities and make progress on the issues that matter. I need you on our team.
We need 47 new grassroots donors by tomorrow to continue to advocate for the people of WI-7 and make progress on the important issues facing us. Can I count on you to chip in $10 or more to help reach our goal and finish this month off strong?
Fighting for you,
Tricia Zunker
Tricia Zunker is running for Congress in the WI-7 special election to be a voice for the people of northwest Wisconsin – people like the family farmers and working people she comes from, with roots in the Wausau area going back generations. If you’re ready to help Tricia flip this seat, contribute whatever you can now. Her primary is February 18!
