I just left the Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government meeting and I wanted to share my thoughts.

Jim Jordan has made it crystal clear that he plans to abuse his power as Committee Chair to push right-wing conspiracies and silence the truth. The Republicans have no agenda to help the American people by creating new jobs or making education and homeownership more accessible. After being spoken over and interrupted by Jordan multiple times during the meeting, his agenda is clear, and unfortunately, I am not surprised.

Republicans have no interest in the truth, but I know the American people are watching and I will never stop pushing for accountability for these relentless attacks on our democracy. The Republican playbook is to risk our safety and security to score political points, and I will not stand for it.
