My heart is breaking as I write this message. It's almost too much to bear.

My son, Sgt. Daniel Perry, is facing felony murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and deadly conduct charges for acting in self-defense against Black Lives Matter supporters who attacked him.

Despite being targeted and shot at, my son acted bravely and quickly to defend himself. But now, a George Soros-backed, progressive district attorney is trying to make him pay for the actions of the mob that threatened his life.
