Support rapid response programming, including emergency grants and patient navigation to help families connect with the care their youth need.

John,

We’re in a time of great urgency in the South, as hundreds of transgender youth face the threat of imminently losing access to gender-affirming – and life-affirming – healthcare in their home states. Anti-transgender healthcare bans are surging in almost every Southern state; one is in effect in Mississippi, another has passed in Tennessee, and bans are dangerously close to passing or imminently taking effect in West Virginia, Florida, and Kentucky.

That’s why the Campaign for Southern Equality has launched the Southern Trans Youth Emergency Fund ([link removed]) , which supports a slate of rapid response programming, including emergency grants and patient navigation support to help families connect with the care and resources their youth need and deserve.

Can you kick in a donation of $25 or $50 right now to fuel this work? Your contribution will ensure we can help as many families as possible as they navigate these very difficult times. ([link removed])

Right now we are providing emergency grants, navigation support, and resources to impacted families in MS, TN and SC – and we’re gearing up to work in other Southern states as anti-transgender health care bans pass.

We are honored to be working alongside inspiring partners such as The TRANS Program, Mississippi Rising, Inclusion Tennessee, OUT Memphis, and others. We’ll keep you posted on ways you can plug in and support trans youth who are experiencing these cruel attacks on their dignity and humanity. It’s so critical that youth know they have a huge community of people fighting for them, from all across the South and the country.

Your donation goes a long way – every dollar goes directly into providing direct support to families. Show your support for trans youth by donating to the Southern Trans Youth Emergency Fund. ([link removed])

Thank you for your support,

P.S. Can’t make a donation right now but still want to show your support? You can send a message of love and solidarity to trans youth in the South. We’ll print them out and include them in care packages for impacted trans youth. ([link removed])
