Brothers, sisters, and siblings,

Tomorrow, March 10th, is the last day for bills to be filed in the Texas legislature. With thousands of bills filed already and hundreds more expected by the end of the week, the real work is just getting started. Now is the time when bills that most impact workers’ lives are either shot down or passed – and the stakes are high.

State leadership is focused on advancing their personal agenda to undermine workers, public education, and equality for all. It’s up to us to ensure that their efforts are stopped by uplifting bills that support workers and will improve the lives of all Texans.

We’re not going to stop fighting for the future all working Texans deserve. That’s why our Fair Shot Agenda prioritizes the real issues – worker protections, higher pay, accessible healthcare, safer workplaces, and more.
