“North Carolina child deaths are skyrocketing” -WITN
Team — I’ve had enough.
Gun violence is on the rise, tearing families apart. More than 600 North Carolina children were killed by a gun between 2012 and 2021. Our kids are 51% more likely to die from gun violence than the national average.
We need to act NOW to protect North Carolina’s children, and I plan to as Governor. Sign on to my petition to show your support for commonsense gun safety reform >>>
For more than 60 years, motor vehicle accidents were the leading cause of death for kids in the USA. Now, it’s firearms.
Team, we made changes to keep kids safe in motor vehicle accidents.
We required car seats and seat belts for young kids. We added child safety locks to rear doors. We set speed limits and created DUI laws. Every year, there are technological improvements to make our cars safer.
We have to make changes now to keep our kids safe from guns.
I’ll work tirelessly as your next Governor to institute commonsense reforms to protect our kids from guns. I need to know you’re with me. Sign on here to show your support >>>
Thank you for taking action on this critical issue,
Josh Stein
