Dear John,

From our President and CEO speaking at SXSW EDU, to the importance of school athletics for student success, we have a number of exciting updates to share with you this week!

Tune in today at 11:30 - 12:30 CT to the SXSW EDU Featured Session: Raise the Bar to Elevate & Diversify the Teaching Profession featuring our own President & CEO Dr. Javaid Siddiqi alongside Secretary Dr. Miguel A. Cardona and Dr. Michael Sorrell.

We are very excited to announce that The Hunt Institute’s President & CEO Dr. Javaid Siddiqi will be participating in a featured session today at SXSW EDU alongside U.S. Department of Education Secretary Dr. Miguel A. Cardona and President of Paul Quinn College Dr. Michael Sorrell on the subject of diversifying the teacher pipeline.

SXSW EDU has established itself as one of the biggest education events of the year and we look forward to elevating the work we're doing at The Hunt Institute, particularly with the One Million Teachers of Color campaign, to a highly engaged national audience. If you are in Austin this week, we hope you will attend this important session!

If you will not be attending in person but would like to tune in, online passes are available which provide access to keynote and featured sessions. If you are unable to watch the livestream, The Hunt Institute will be sharing a blog post capturing the highlights of the session’s conversation.
