Together we take action for wild animals |

Hi John,
Firstly, we want to say a massive 'thank you' to everyone who has responded to our new appeal, End Wildlife Conflict. Thanks to your generosity, in just one week we've raised over £10,000 to help find humane, practical solutions to conflict between wild animals and people. We still have a long way to go, but what a great start!
There are two pieces of grrrrreat lion news this month, so we want to hear you roar! Plus, find out how YOUR support is helping to fund innovative new ways to mitigate human-wildlife conflict; we reveal the results of our national survey on animal welfare; and more!
First up, the Lions of Lockdown, one year on. Remember the fab four, rescued from a circus, then ‘put on hold’ in a halfway house due to the pandemic? This time last year, YOU changed their world and took them home to Africa. |
Talking of lion prides, thousands of you visited our life-size bronze lions. They now have a roarsome new home prowling around Chewton Glen – and YOU can attend the official launch event on 30th March. |

BEEHIVES SAVE ELEPHANTS?! |
Did you know elephants are scared of bees? Fences made of beehives deter elephants, protect crops AND generate income. Now YOU can get involved. |
POLAR BEARS SUFFER IN ZOOS |
With your help, our headline-grabbing new report highlights the plight of these majestic Arctic animals in captivity, not least their impact on the climate crisis. |
Thousands of you have already taken a stand but, we still need help to get a UK import ban on sickening hunting trophies. Please contact your MP to ask for their support. |

How do you rescue an animal? |
Thanks to your generous support, we rescue hundreds of vulnerable animals, from big cats to giant tortoises. But it’s a complicated process! |
…and you won’t believe the results. Our new opinion poll reveals over 75% of the British public vote for no more large animals in zoos. |
Sponsor our star fundraisers |
Our Run Wild team of 26 heroes is pounding the streets, training for April’s London Marathon. Can you help them reach their £40,000 target? |
Meet our brilliant patron |
World-renowned flute player Eliza Marshall arranged a concert and album in aid of Born Free and spoke about it on her BBC Radio 4 podcast. |
Thank you once again for all your support - you are amazing and we couldn't do any of our work without you!
