Hi John,

Thank you so much for using the Affordable Energy Calculator last week!

There’s less than a week now till the Spring Statement, where the Chancellor Jeremy Hunt will set out the government’s spending commitments. We need as many people as possible to use the calculator and demand that the Chancellor gives the money required to upgrade UK homes - bringing down energy bills for good.

Together we have a real chance of impacting government spending. Please could you share the calculator with as many of your friends and family as possible?

The UK government is facing lots of pressure to lower people’s skyrocketing energy bills and they’re starting to listen. [1]

Thousands of people like you have now found out how much the UK government is costing them on their energy bills by failing to properly invest in upgrading and insulating our homes. Now we need to mobilise as many people as possible to do the same and share their results from the calculator with Jeremy Hunt before the Spring Statement next week.

I’m so grateful for what you’ve already done, and now will you share the calculator with your friends and family?

Millions of people are living in fuel poverty, whilst fossil fuel companies make record profits. [2] It's costing lives and causing misery - but it doesn’t have to be this way. [3] The government must act.

Thank you so much again, I’m extremely grateful for all your support on this.
