Team,
Happy International Women's Day! Thanks to the work and sacrifices of countless women, we have made great strides in the fight for women's equality.
Ohio alone is home to numerous trailblazing women whose exemplary careers have forged a path for folks like myself — from Florence E. Allen to Toni Morrison and Judith Resnik, who continue to inspire me daily.
Today, leaders like Joyce Beatty, Shontel Brown, Emilia Sykes and Marcy Kaptur are fighting for working Ohioans in Congress. And we can't forget Marcia Fudge, who serves as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.
But team, the fight for women's equality is far from over. Ohio Republicans have decided that overturning Roe v. Wade wasn't enough. And they're continuing to volley relentless attacks at women's fundamental reproductive rights and working overtime to strip millions of Americans of their essential rights.
So I'm asking: Will you join me in recommitting to the fight for gender equality in Ohio — and across the nation — by signing your name next to mine?

Today, I want us to remember how far we've come. But we must also never forget how much further we have to go . We stand on the shoulders of women who have been leading the fight for justice since before our nation was born. And together, we can continue to uphold their legacy.
Thanks for your support,
Liz Walters
