I want to wish you a happy International Women's Day, John!
Today, we recognize International Women's Day to celebrate the achievements of women worldwide, and take time to acknowledge how far we have come, where we're headed, and how we can continue working together to create an inclusive, safe, and equitable world. Andy and I both have young daughters, and we are committed to ensuring our commonwealth provides them with the same rights and opportunities as everyone else. That's why we have been working to invest in public education, health care, and an economy that works for everyone. These are policies that lift up girls and women and allow us to access our full potential. We've made great progress since the first International Women's Day, but we still have a long road ahead. So please join me today in celebrating our achievements, and recommit to the fight for equality. Thank you, Jacqueline Lieutenant Governor
