| John, One of the perils of the world we live in today is that news cycles turn over so often that a lot of really important information can be forgotten since it isn’t on the news anymore. One thing that we at the Montana Democratic Party want to make sure isn’t lost is the continued fight for the right to access an abortion across this country and in our state. There are stories now and then about the horrors that some women in America are facing when trying to obtain what should be a right to their own health care, but we want to make sure abortion bans aren’t normalized just because they aren’t being talked about on the news every day. With bills like SB 154, HB 786, and HB 575 moving through our legislature, aiming to destroy our constitutional right to healthcare privacy in our state, we need to organize and fight back on this issue now more than ever. Our party remains committed to fighting for the rights of all women to make their own choices about their bodies and their health care and we will fight to defeat every single Montana politician at the state AND federal level that wants to control women’s decisions.
