The professional politicians did everything they could to block us in the North Carolina state house. However, North Carolina House Speaker Tim Moore led the charge for term limits on Congress and won the day. Now, our legislation must pass the North Carolina state senate. It will be a tough fight. But term limits on Congress is very popular in North Carolina. With enough volunteers, online ads and media events, we can win this! Please, give whatever you can. It is really urgent that you act today. Every anti-term limits organization will now be investing heavily to stop us in the North Carolina state senate. They know that they can't afford to have yet another state vote to bypass Congress and call the Term Limits Convention. We will be outspent by the lobbyists, the special interest groups and probably even actual sitting members of Congress who despise term limits.
