North Carolina League of Conservation Voters
John,
We hope you saw our endorsement last week of Attorney General Josh Stein in his campaign to be the next Governor of North Carolina. We are excited about Josh’s campaign and are certain he will continue the incredible work he has done to protect us, our climate, our quality of life, and invest in a clean, renewable energy economy.
How do we know this? Because of his lengthy record and our recognition of his commitment through the Green Tie Awards. As a state senator, Josh was recognized with NCLCV’s Green Tie Award as a Rising Star in 2010 and Senator of Year in 2016.
Help us applaud our leaders who ARE working hard for environmental and social justice.
On Wednesday, May 24th, 2022 from 5:30 pm to 8:00pm we will host the 2023 Green Tie Awards Ceremony at the beautiful Merrimon-Wynne House at 500 North Blount St. in Raleigh, NC.
This event honors North Carolina’s Green Champions: legislators and others, who have worked tirelessly to ensure that all North Carolinians have access to clean water, clean air, clean energy, and a sustainably healthy environment. And you never know when a rising star might become a future governor.
