Dear Team,

By 2030, the Center for Reproductive Rights seeks to ensure that half the planet's population lives under stronger legal protections for reproductive rights. This won't happen unless we're committed to creating a world where every person participates with dignity as an equal member of society, regardless of gender.

This International Women's Day—and every day—the Center is working to build a world where every woman is free to decide whether or when to have children and whether to get married, where access to quality reproductive health care is guaranteed, and where every woman can make these decisions free from coercion or discrimination.

Family of women

This means...

  1. El Salvador: Fighting to free women unjustly imprisoned for seeking abortion care.

  2. Tanzania: Advocating for the rights of adolescent girls to attend school free from invasive mandatory pregnancy testing.

  3. Poland: Supporting human rights defenders and organizations advocating for the right to abortion.

  4. United States: Addressing the maternal mortality crisis and fighting for equal obstetric and maternal health care for people of all backgrounds.

  5. Pakistan: Working to ensure that those suffering from obstetric fistula can get crucial reproductive health care.

Reproductive rights are your human rights, no matter where you live. The Center has confronted challenges to these rights in some of the most restrictive environments around the world for 30 years. And we have won time and time again.

We won't stop fighting to expand legal protections for reproductive rights around the world and will need you with us.

Onward,

Center for Reproductive Rights
