As Congress begins our appropriations process for the next fiscal year, I’m pleased to announce that my office will, once again, be accepting applications from Delaware nonprofit and government entities for funding of community projects. Bringing critical federal resources to Delaware has always been a priority of mine, and the bipartisan process announced by the House Committee on Appropriations presents a unique opportunity to fund projects that are critical to our state and based on community needs. | A limited number of applications will be accepted, and acceptance of an application does not guarantee that a project is funded, as each project will be evaluated by the House Committee on Appropriations against thousands of projects across the country. | It is important to note that, given the new majority in Congress, there is an expedited timeline and new application criteria this year. Some of the new criteria may mean that projects eligible for funding in the past are no longer eligible. To help answer any additional questions you may have including eligibility, timeline, funding opportunities, and appropriate points of contact, my office has put together a resource guide which can be found by clicking below. | All applications for funding are due by close-of-business on Friday, March 17, 2023. No exceptions can be made for the deadline. If you are in need of ADA accommodations, please call 202-225-4165. The application form can be found by clicking below. | Rep.
