Friends,
Today is International Women’s Day, a moment to celebrate all the women out there who are getting the job done — but too often go unsung.
We celebrate all the working moms who show up every single day after driving their kids to school and before dropping them off at soccer practice.
It’s a time to celebrate all the women who have started a new business, often without the same resources as their male counterparts — and yet, they persist.
This is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women of color and continue to raise awareness about the discrimination that still exists in our society today.
We should be celebrating women from all around the world and promoting inclusion — including women from our territories and women from other developing countries.
Let’s celebrate all women — even those whose stories do not make the evening news.
Happy International Women’s Day! I hope today you take a moment to reflect on the unsung heroes in your life and honor them for everything they’ve done.
