The last year has been huge for reproductive rights – never more than the vote last night in Parliament to introduce safe access zones around every abortion clinic in England and Wales.

It’s been a ten year campaign, and we beat the anti-choice MPs 299 votes to 116 – an overwhelming victory for women’s rights to access confidential healthcare.

Coming in the wake of defeating the government to make telemedical abortion permanent, and forcing Boots to reduce the price of its emergency contraception, it is a huge achievement – but there is so much more to do.

Today, there are two women in England facing prison for ending their own pregnancies under a law passed 160 years ago. This year they need us to change the law, and we need your support to make it happen.
