** Announcing NLAS West
------------------------------------------------------------

We’re excited to announce our next conference, the New Liberal Action Summit! The first of our conference series will take place in San Francisco on March 31st. We’ll be joined by members of Congress, academics, business leaders, and writers from up and down the West Coast for a day of speakers, panels, and political engagement. We are pleased to announce that Tobin Stone and Matti Miranda have joined the team at the Center for New Liberalism! They will be instrumental in increasing support to our chapters in fortifying their strategic goals as well as support with logistics, press, and communications. We’re excited to see what they can do!

Matti Miranda joins the team as the Assistant Director at Center for New Liberalism. With an extensive background in organizing, leading chapter based political organizations, and digital strategy, Matti will be working on a robust strategic direction in partnership with CNL leadership.

Tobin Stone is joining the Center for New Liberalism as our new Community and Communications Manager. He most recently worked as a Press Assistant on Senator Bennet's reelection campaign. Tobin has been a member of the Center for New Liberalism since 2020, and previously was the President of the Albright College New Liberals chapter.

Markose Butler (Community Outreach and Training Director for CNL) wrote two pieces on what Democrats can do to win back the trust of Black voters. One on Licensing Reform appeared in The Hill ([link removed]) and one on Housing/Crime in Newsweek ([link removed]) .

Jacob Fridman (Tufts University Chapter) appeared on Tufts University campus radio to discuss his chapter and what New Liberals do and believe. Click Here ([link removed]) to listen.
