Consultant Susan Beaumont says church leaders need a different set of skills in ambiguous, disorienting periods of transition. In such seasons of change leaders must manage anxiety, embrace the freedom of unknowing, explore new possibilities and avoid acting prematurely. Clergy Benefits Academy – At No Cost
Wespath invites all active clergy members of The United Methodist Church to attend the Clergy Benefits Academy – February 17-19 at the Skirvin Hilton Oklahoma City. For those willing to complete an online survey, Wespath is providing scholarships covering the registration fee (attendee and spouse) and two nights lodging. In addition, C2FM is adding a supplemental reimbursement up to $250 for non-reimbursed expenses for all Missouri attendees. Please email Tori Luke at [email protected] and indicate that you would like to register and receive the scholarship. She will then guide you through the process. (If you already registered, you may contact Tori and request the scholarship, too.) The Academy is for all ages and stages of ministry— early-career, mid-career, ready-to-retire – and spouses.
