[link removed] [[link removed]] John,
Donald Trump took the stage at CPAC this weekend, speaking for more than 90 minutes and ticking through a list of lies, including his favorite one:
“I won the second election, OK, won it by a lot. You know, when they say, when they say Biden won, the smart people know that didn’t [happen].” - Donald Trump
Let’s do a quick fact check here: Trump lost the 2020 election to Biden – 306 to 232 in the Electoral College. Biden earned more than 7 million more votes than Trump did.
John, Donald Trump knew from the beginning that the 2020 election wasn't stolen. He planned to declare victory no matter what. He wanted to stay in power, even if it meant pushing the Big Lie and inciting a violent attack on the Capitol.
He cannot be allowed to escape consequences.
CREW is preparing to take legal action against Donald Trump, but we need your help first. Can you make a donation to CREW today to help us make sure Trump faces the consequences for spreading the Big Lie and inciting an insurrection? If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Before votes had even been cast, Trump started sowing doubt about the results to millions of his supporters.
On July 19, 2020, Trump told Chris Wallace that "mail-in voting is going to rig the election” and refused to say he would accept the election results.
On November 3, election night, Trump falsely claimed victory, telling the audience that a “very sad group of people” was trying to disenfranchise the “millions and millions” who had voted for him. “We won’t stand for it,” he said.
On December 19, Donald Trump published his infamous tweet calling his supporters to DC on January 6th, the day of the electoral certification in Congress. "Big protests in D.C. on January 6. Be there. Will be wild!"
Before, during, and after the January 6th attacks, Donald Trump turned to social media to energize supporters with the Big Lie. The insurrection would not have happened without Trump’s Big Lie.
So how do we stop the lies and hold Trump accountable?
We stop him from ever serving as president again.
Trump disqualified himself from office under the 14th Amendment, which bars people who engaged in or supported an insurrection from holding government office.
It's not a punishment for us to uphold the Constitution. It's a requirement.
CREW has already taken action against insurrectionists running for office or elected leaders who participated in the insurrection – and we’ve won. We’ve stopped insurrectionists from holding office – and we’ll stop Trump too.
But this is a bigger fight than ever before. To make sure we hold Trump accountable, and stop him from serving as president ever again, we need your help to bring the pressure. Make a donation to CREW today and help us hold Trump accountable → [[link removed]]
