Through this opportunity, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), in coordination with the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) and the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), seeks applications for funding to prevent and reduce violent crime in communities by supporting comprehensive, evidence-based violence intervention and prevention programs.
Awards made under this solicitation may be managed by BJA, OJJDP, or OVC, depending on the nature of the funded project.
This solicitation offers the following four categories:
- Category 1: CVIPI for Community Based/Tribal Organizations
- Category 2: CVIPI for City/County/Tribal Governments
- Category 3: CVIPI for State Governments
- Category 4: CVIPI Capacity Building for Community Based Organizations via Intermediary Organizations
