Sign my petition to condemn his plan >>> Team — North Carolina Republicans want to terminate your right to make your own reproductive health care decisions in our state. Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, the likely Republican candidate for Governor, just made it clear that he would ban abortion care if given the opportunity. He told an interviewer: “If I had all the power right now...we could pass a bill saying, ‘You can’t have an abortion in North Carolina for any reason.’” Here’s what that really means: Mark Robinson would ban abortion with NO exceptions — not for the life or health of the mother or in the case of rape or incest. He would force women who need care to travel out of state for essential reproductive health care. He would deny North Carolinians their most basic right: the right to make decisions about their own bodies. It’s unacceptable.
