John,

Florida legislators just introduced a six-week abortion ban on the very first day of the new legislative session. GOP extremists aren't hiding it anymore -- they want to end access to abortion, and they'll create any amount of draconian legislation to achieve that goal.

It's outrageous, and the way we stop it is by replacing the anti-choice lawmakers writing these laws. Can you step up today to help elect more Democratic pro-choice women everywhere who will protect abortion access?

This particular law criminalizes anyone who participates in the termination of a pregnancy after six weeks, ends medication abortion, requires two physicians to testify that a pregnant person seeking an abortion will die if they remain pregnant, and, horrifyingly, requires "proof" of rape or incest for anyone seeking an exception to the ban.

You read that right. Instead of legislating to protect the victims of horrible crimes in their state, Florida Republicans are legislating to further traumatize them.

This kind of legislation is abhorrent, it's dangerous, and it has no place in our state capitals. The best way to stop laws like these is to get the lawmakers writing them out of office. Will you donate today, right now, to help Democratic pro-choice women replace anti-choice Republicans across the country?

Thank you for stepping up.
