2022 Economic Census Deadline to Respond Is One Week Away [ [link removed] ]

*MARCH 8, 2023* ? The deadline to respond to the 2022 Economic Census is fast approaching. Businesses that are asked to participate in the economic census have until March 15 to respond before the nonresponse follow-up begins. The response period began January 31 with the mailout of invitations to respond.

Businesses that require additional time to respond can request an extension by logging onto the Respondent Portal ([link removed] [ [link removed] ]) and accessing their survey card. Check the How Do I Get Started [ [link removed] ] page for detailed instructions [ [link removed] ] on how to create an account if you do not have one, to begin reporting, to check filing status and to request an extension. Businesses that have questions or require assistance responding can also reach out to the economic census helpline at 1-800-584-9066, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
