The oil and gas industry has left millions of wells unplugged across the country, which can still leak toxic and climate-warming chemicals even when they are inactive. The Department of the Interior (DOI) is developing a grant program to clean up and plug these discarded "zombie" wells. We need them to follow through on their oil well cleanup grants and make the qualifications much stricter.
