Friend,
As you may know, March is Women's History Month, so I wanted to
reaffirm my commitment to building a country that works for everyone —
regardless of gender. I'm proud to champion policies that
predominantly impact women, such as protecting abortion rights
and other reproductive care, closing the gender pay gap, and passing
paid family and medical leave, and I'm honored to fight alongside each
and every one of you.
In the past year, I've seen just how strong our movement
is.
After the Supreme Court's egregious decision to overturn Roe last
spring, our communities have shown up to defend reproductive rights.
From Kansas to Michigan to right here in California, voters used
their voice to protect reproductive care, and it was a critical part
of expanding our majority in the Senate.
These wins have proven what's possible, and I know that while there
is still a lot of work to do, together, we can make real progress.
This fight is more important than ever, and I'm certainly not backing
down.
Happy Women's History Month!
