We did it, John.

Today, we officially submitted over 6,000 signatures to secure our place on the ballot in May.

Thanks to your support, we were able to gather an overwhelming number of signatures – six times the required amount. I mean it, we couldn’t have done this without your help, and I’m incredibly grateful to have you on our team. Door by door, block by block, one conversation at a time, we can realize our vision for a better Philly. , wJohnith 70 Days until the primary election, I had to ask: Can I count on you to pitch in a monthly contribution to help us mobilize this city around a vision for safer communities, stronger schools, and affordable housing? Our team of indefatigable volunteers knocked on thousands of doors to have conversations with residents about the issues that matter to them. From retired teachers and food service workers to union members and first-time voters, these volunteers went into communities all over the city to gather these signatures because they believe in this campaign’s vision: one where our neighborhoods are safe, our young people are supported, our schools are fully-funded, and our communities are prosperous.

Everything is on the line — our city, our schools, and our future. The more than 6,000 signatures we collected are a clear demonstration of what a people-powered campaign can do — and we’re just getting started.

With you on our side, I know that we can build a city where the streets are safe, our schools are funded, and our communities prosper.

Thank you, John.

Onward,

Helen Gym
