Hi, it’s Olivia — Ayanna’s Finance Director.
March is an important month for Ayanna and our campaign, so I wanted to take a moment to explain why.
Here’s the situation:
Our first quarterly FEC deadline of 2023 is at the end of this month. That means how much we’ve raised so far this year will be made public for everyone to see — and our fundraising power will be scrutinized by the media, the GOP, and corporate interests.
Here’s the plan:
We want everyone to see how many people are investing in this movement and supporting Ayanna as she continues to organize and legislate for progress. Filing the strongest fundraising report possible will do just that.
If you can’t afford to make a contribution today, I completely understand! If you’re in a place to pitch in, we hope you will. Either way, thank you so much for everything you’re doing to help keep our movement strong.
