Tax Preparation Telephone Town Hall:
Each month I engage with community members in a public conversation. Sometimes we’re in person at our local colleges. Sometimes we’re more formal like my annual State of the Sixth address. And sometimes, like our next one, we’re on the phone. As we approach the end of tax season, I want to assist our community with the process, so this telephone town hall will be focused on tax preparation. I will be joined by Edwina Johnson from United Way of Chester County and Bill Pierce from Brandywine Valley Active Aging who can help answer your questions.
If you are interested in attending, you do not need to RSVP, just call (855) 731-4616 at the time of the event to join!
You can join us live by calling (855) 731-4616 or

Bipartisan good news from D.C.:
As a continuation of my work to ensure new parents are able to spend vital time with their families, I’ve been a leader in the effort to make paid family and medical leave more accessible to more Americans. That’s why I’ve launched a bipartisan working group on paid family leave with Rep. Stephanie Bice, a Republican from Oklahoma. We’re both deeply committed to seeing this across the finish line, and I’m happy to report that we’ve been joined by two more Democrats and two more Republicans. Click here to learn more about the group.
Constituent Success Story:
“Social Security was unable to process my benefits for three months stating numerous times it was due to an issue at the processing center. After contacting your office, it was resolved a few days later. I appreciate your assistance very much.” - George, Pottstown
