NCEIT Legislative Action Day,
Thursday, March 9th, 2023.
 
Come In-person to Raleigh or Call Into the Legislature.

2023 NCEIT Second Legislative Action Day is Thursday, March 9th in Raleigh at the Capital building between 10AM - 2PM.
 
If you can make it, please do. Meet at 16 West Jones Street, Raleigh. Look for the tents and tables. (If not, please see You Make The Call column to make phone calls.)
 
This is the long session to get bills passed. We won't have another opportunity like this until 2025.
There will be multiple tables manned by Sue Butcher, Jim Womack and Jay Delancy with directions, talking points, and maps.

Please note. NCEIT has a Legislative Priority List. NCEIT has Action Days the 2nd Thursday of each month . We can certainly lobby in person and by phone to get sponsors on other days. Please ANSWER THE CALL. This is our last shot at this until 2025. This is the long session to get bills passed.

It is imperative that you either attend the Raleigh Legislative Action Days beginning Wednesday Feb 8th and then the second Thursday of each month in Raleigh, or call our legislators. This is the long session and our only opportunity to get legislation passed for the next two years.
 
The deadline for filing bills in the NC House and NC Senate is here.
 
Legislative Action Days: Wednesday, Feb 8th/Thursday, March 9th/Thursday, April 13th (unless Easter week interferes. We will reschedule.) /Thursday, May 11th/Thursday, June 15th
