New Funding: Community-Based Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative Research, Evaluation, and Associated Training & Technical Assistance Support [ [link removed] ]

The Office of Justice Programs? Community-Based Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative (CVIPI) provides resources to support evidence-informed violence intervention and prevention programs in communities across the United States. NIJ is seeking applications for funding under CVIPI for projects that address one of four funding categories:


* Training and technical assistance to support CVIPI evaluation capacity building and researcher and practitioner partnerships
* Training and technical assistance to support violent crime problem analyses of jurisdictions not funded under the OJP FY22-23 CVIPI solicitations
* Site-based evaluations of programs funded under the OJP FY22-23 CVIPI solicitations
* Other community violence research and evaluations

Applications will be submitted in a two-step process, each step with its own deadline:


* Submit an SF-424 and an SF-LLL in Grants.gov [ [link removed] ].
*Grants.gov Deadline: May 22, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. ET*
* Submit the full application, including attachments, in JustGrants [ [link removed] ].
*JustGrants Deadline: June 5, 2023, at 8:59 p.m. ET*

Applicants must register with Grants.gov [ [link removed] ] and JustGrants [ [link removed] ] prior to submitting an application.

This solicitation is competitive; therefore, NIJ staff cannot have individual conversations with prospective applicants. * Budget Web-Based Form (The web-based form includes the budget details and the budget narrative.)
* Curricula Vitae/Resumes for Key Personnel (For purposes of this solicitation, ?key personnel? means the principal investigator and all co-principal investigators.)
