*Gov. Reynolds appoints Kristen Formanek as District Associate Judge* 

 

DES MOINES – Gov. Kim Reynolds today announced her appointment of Kristen Formanek as a district associate judge in Judicial Election District 5C.  

 

Formanek, of Ankeny, Iowa, currently serves as an Assistant Polk County Attorney and has served as an Assistant Story County Attorney. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and her law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law. 

 

Formanek fills a vacancy created by the retirement of District Associate Judge Cynthia Moisan. Judicial Election District 5C includes Polk County.
