It’s moments like these that make me proud to be your Congresswoman.
Delivering funding for important projects and initiatives across our district is crucial. It’s what helps cement our state as a leader for science and sports in education.
Securing this funding is personal for me, too.
Growing up, sports were a formative part of my life. I was a collegiate swimmer, and my coaches were a few of my biggest inspirations. Even before I was elected, I’ve been at the forefront of making inner city sports and education opportunities more accessible across Las Vegas.
But listen, this also goes to show that Democrats know how to get things done. We advocate for our communities tooth and nail and refuse to let any battle, no matter how tough, stand in our way.
