We in California are painfully aware that we live on the “Left Coast”.

As a result fewer people pay attention to our races. In baseball we call a similar effect the “East Coast Bias” partly because everyone is asleep in the East when we play ball. (Go ⚾️ Giants!)

But there is going to be a 🚨critical race🚨 coming up in which we have an opportunity to diversify the US Senate.

Since Senator Dianne Feinstein announced her retirement, there are a number of great candidates announcing their candidacy. But there is an opportunity to elect Barbara Lee, a longtime ✨progressive✨ congresswoman, to that seat and to put at least one progressive African American woman in the US Senate.
