Boozhoo John,
I want to send a quick note from Bayfield, where in just a few short hours, community members will join the Wisconsin Native Vote team and the Native American Rights Fund (NARF) for a special meal.
We’re bringing together people from Red Cliff, Bad River, and northern Wisconsin for bingo, dinner, and a discussion about how the Wisconsin Supreme Court impacts our people. I’m especially excited to hear from Dr. Rick St. Germaine (Ojibwe, Lac Courte Oreilles) and Red Cliff Chairman Christopher Boyd!
Your tax-deductible donation to Wisconsin Conservation Voices during The Big Share helps support the work our Native Vote team is doing across Wisconsin to engage and educate Native voters to protect our freedom to vote for future generations.
Right now, all donations up to $7,500 will be matched to help us reach our $25,000 Big Share goal!
This is the second community dinner we’ve hosted with NARF in the last week and I can’t wait for our guests to begin to arrive! Events like these are a central part of our work to forge deep relationships across Wisconsin’s Native communities.
These relationships matter. Last year, our team deepened our relationships with community leaders, artists, influences, and 10 tribal governments to turn out thousands of Native voters all over Wisconsin.
