John, There’s a war on cops, and soft-on-crime policies are at the root. Violent criminals have become even more emboldened to carry out their brazenly lethal attacks on our communities, our families, and the police officers entrusted to protect us.
It’s long overdue we start supporting those who safeguard our streets.
This is why I’ve reintroduced the Thin Blue Line Act, which affords the same penalties and prison sentences for targeting local and state police officers as is currently legislated for federal law enforcement. Learn more at Washington Examiner:

According to the recent statistics, there’s been an alarming 89% increase in cops being shot in January 2021 when compared to 2023. This is shocking, but sadly, not surprising – this is exactly what we’d expect when prosecutors, like the one we have in Indianapolis, refuse to do their jobs and take violent, cop-targeting criminals to court.
Woke social justice warriors masquerading as prosecutorial public servants have blinded themselves to the detriment and deaths of the thin blue line who defend our communities, rather than honoring lady justice and her equal protection.
I’m proud to serve my fellow Hoosier heroes in blue, and I will always stand by their side. |
