Bernie Sanders’ momentum is gaining
as he surges in national polls, and for the first time in the history
of this country, a democratic socialist could win the presidency! We
know that Bernie can’t do it alone, though. We must strive to
cultivate a broad, diverse working class movement to not just help
Bernie win the presidency, but also to enact Medicare for All,
tuition-free college, a Green New Deal, and so much more. Every
weekend this month we’re focusing our energy on different cities
across the East Bay to Build the Bay for Bernie and
Democratic Socialism!
Last weekend, we built the bay for
Bernie in Hayward and now we’re planning three days of canvassing in
San Leandro. Our San Leandro weekend kicks off
TONIGHT at the San Leandro BART station, and
continues with back-to-back canvasses on Saturday and Sunday. Join us
to build the political revolution in San Leandro and across the
bay!
